Proposed Jan. 27, 2017

I am honestly not sure if it's more practical to propose this as a county or a city ordinance, but as a bike rider myself I want to see a law that requires bike lanes  be put in whenever a road is repaved (assuming said road is wide enough to accommodate). More bike lanes=more bike riders= less traffic + safer biking environment.

I strongly believe in bicyclists' safety and that is why I support bike lanes that avoid main thoroughfares or where they can be run separated from the flow of powered vehicles. We have to stop giving half of road space to 1% of commuters
